Laugh & Think
When she isn’t pretending to be a grown-up, Idit writes stories for children in which silliness and antics lead to social-emotional messages of resilience and self-worth.

Rhyming or not, first person or third, Idit writes at a kid's eye level, never forgetting the grown-up reading to their child, sharing the experience.

Fibs For Fun
My mom says Aunt Oola likes fibbing for fun.
My head sometimes spins from the stories she’s spun.
I don’t think she’s naughty, I know she’s not bad,
But she’s stranger than most aunts most kids ever had.

FAT CAT, old cat
Sample Work
Biscuit is a Fat Cat. But he wasn’t always.
At the shelter, he was thin.
The lady said he grew up in Florida, where alligators roam the streets. Honest!
They only stop to sunbathe or to snack on cats like Biscuit.
That’s how he became such a scaredy cat, and his own best friend:
Jumping at every little peep,
Playing all alone,
And eating everything he gets his paws on.
